An intimate retreat in Greece

Awaken the Oracle Within

2–6 December 2026

Four nights, Wednesday to Sunday Three full retreat days A small group of men and women

What if you already know?

Four nights in Greece. Three full retreat days. A small group of men and women. And a final pilgrimage on foot to Delphi, following the ancient route once taken by those who travelled to consult the Oracle.

Awaken the Oracle Within is for those who feel disconnected from their own inner knowing — or who sense that something is trying to emerge, but cannot yet quite hear what it is.

You may be moving through a period of change. You may feel stuck, uncertain about what comes next, or tired of looking outside yourself for answers.

This retreat offers something increasingly rare: time to step away from ordinary life and reflect deeply on who you are, where you are, and what is asking to change.

Over three days, we work through the body, reflection, healing, ritual and ancient sacred landscape to create more space beneath habit, conditioning and outside influence.

Not a search for answers outside yourself, but an opportunity to become more receptive to the ones already forming within.

Who this retreat is for

This may be for you if

  • You are moving through a period of change or transition
  • You feel stuck, uncertain, or disconnected from your own direction
  • You have become accustomed to looking outside yourself for answers
  • You often override your instincts or second-guess what you know
  • Old beliefs, roles or expectations no longer fit the person you are becoming
  • You feel there is something more asking to emerge through you
  • You are drawn to reflection, mythology, sacred places and meaningful inner work

You do not need previous experience with meditation, healing or spiritual practice. You only need curiosity, openness, and a willingness to listen more closely to yourself.

Before Greece

It begins before you leave

Four nights, three full days

You arrive on the Wednesday evening and leave after breakfast on the Sunday. The three days in between are entirely given to the retreat — nothing is scheduled around travel.

We meet online before we meet in Greece

Eight days before the retreat, we gather online for a 45-minute introductory session. It gives the group a chance to meet one another, to understand the rhythm and intention of the retreat, to ask practical questions, and to begin reflecting on the question you may wish to carry with you to Greece.

The deeper experiential work begins when we meet in person.

Know Thyself

People came to Delphi from across the ancient world carrying questions about love, loss, war, direction, destiny and the future. Yet at the entrance to the Oracle stood this deceptively simple instruction.

For us, it becomes the thread running through the retreat. Not Who should I become? Not What should somebody else tell me to do? But:

What else becomes possible when I can hear myself clearly again?

The programme

Three days, each taking you deeper

Day one

What has been speaking over you?

We begin by looking at the ways we learn to override ourselves. Family expectations. Conditioning. Roles we took on to belong. The instinct to stay agreeable, useful, silent or safe.

Through embodied practice, reflection and constellation work, we begin to notice what has shaped our choices — and what may no longer belong to us.

The day closes beside the sea with a simple ritual of release.

Day two

Returning to the intelligence of the body

The second day moves beneath thought. We explore the body as a place of memory, instinct, emotion and perception — and what happens when we give ourselves enough attention and space for what has been held inside to begin moving again.

The day weaves together movement, breath, meditation, ceremonial cacao, somatic work, constellation practice, intuitive bodywork and healing. There is also time to rest.

The purpose is not to force an emotional breakthrough. It is to become more present to what the body has been trying to communicate.

Because sometimes the body has recognised the truth long before the mind is ready to name it.

Day three

What is asking to emerge?

Before sunrise, we leave for the ancient port of Kirra. From there you begin the old pilgrimage route towards Delphi — roughly eleven kilometres on foot through the olive landscape, carrying a question of your own.

For centuries, people travelled this road to seek guidance from the Oracle. You will make the journey differently: not to ask someone else what comes next, but to connect with the land and the mystery of Delphi, and to recognise what wants to be born through you.

At Delphi we spend time with the Temple of Apollo and then the sanctuary of Athena, allowing space for reflection, contemplation, and whatever the journey itself has revealed.

Know Thyself.

The day ends back at the retreat house with integration, dinner and celebration.

More on the pilgrimage

The walk is approximately eleven kilometres and rises steadily through the landscape. A reasonable level of fitness and good walking shoes are required. It is paced as a group, with breaks along the way, and transport brings us back to the retreat house afterwards.

Expect an early start — and a landscape that repays it.

What is included

Everything on the ground is covered

Once you have landed in Athens, nothing further is due.

You stay together at the retreat venue for all four nights, with the workshop room and communal areas to yourselves; the facilitators stay separately, close by. Meals are shared and deliberately uncomplicated — part of the retreat rather than a service alongside it, with dietary needs collected in the registration form. The venue is being confirmed, and registered participants receive the full details with their travel documents.

Getting there

Fly to Athens — we take it from there

Participants book their own flight to Athens International Airport (ATH). From there the group travels together by private minibus to Antikyra, a small harbour town on the Gulf of Corinth, about two hours from the airport and half an hour below Delphi. The transfer out and the return to the airport are both part of the retreat price.

Antikyra is the base for all four nights. The minibus also carries the group to Kirra and back from Delphi on the day of the pilgrimage walk.

Exact pickup times at the airport will be communicated once the group's flight planning is complete.

Healing is not about becoming someone new. It is about gathering the parts of ourselves that have become fragmented, silenced or forgotten, and restoring them to relationship with the whole.

Nicole has more than eighteen years of experience facilitating transformational work internationally. Her background spans Process Oriented Psychotherapy, Family and Systemic Constellations, hypnotherapy, somatic and trauma-informed counselling, meditation, energy healing, shamanic healing and altered-state integration.

Her work is especially focused on helping people recognise unconscious patterns, reconnect with the deeper intelligence of the body, and strengthen their capacity to trust what they already know.

She trained in osteopathy at College Sutherland, holds two further certifications in paediatric osteopathy, and has continued to study the fascial distortion model, fascia as a sensory organ, lymphatic drainage, kinesiology and Reiki.

She works with her hands alone, and meets the person as a whole — body, mind, and what moves between them. Her attention goes to where movement has become restricted rather than to a name for it. At the retreat she brings that same listening to the intuitive somatic bodywork on the second day.

Questions

Before you book

Do I need any previous experience?

No. No previous experience with meditation, healing or spiritual practice is needed — only curiosity, openness, and a willingness to listen more closely to yourself. The practices are designed so that different levels of experience can take part together.

Do I need to be spiritual?

No. The retreat works with ritual, mythology and symbolic processes, but how you interpret them personally is entirely up to you.

Can I come on my own?

Yes. Most people come on their own — the retreat is designed for it.

Where exactly does it take place?

In Antikyra, a small harbour town on the Gulf of Corinth, about two hours from Athens airport and half an hour below Delphi. The group stays there for all four nights, from 2 to 6 December 2026. The exact address is sent with your booking confirmation.

How is the accommodation arranged?

We stay together in one private house in Antikyra, with the whole place to ourselves. Bedrooms are shared, generally two people to a room, and bathrooms are shared between the group. Nicole and Dorena stay nearby, so the house belongs to the participants.

Rooms are allocated once the group is complete, and we do this with care. If you are coming with someone and would like to share with them, tell us in the registration form. If you are coming alone, you will be paired thoughtfully — and for many people this turns out to be one of the quiet gifts of a retreat like this.

Sharing is part of how a small group becomes a group. If it is a real concern for you, write to us before you book and we will talk it through.

How much walking is involved?

One long walk, on the third day: approximately eleven kilometres from the port of Kirra up to Delphi, on the route pilgrims took to reach the Oracle. It rises steadily through the olive landscape and begins before sunrise. A reasonable level of fitness and good walking shoes are required — but it is paced as a group, with breaks along the way, and transport brings us back afterwards. The rest of the retreat asks nothing physical of you beyond gentle movement.

Because of the walk, we ask everyone to take out their own travel insurance, covering both medical care abroad and cancellation. Please arrange it when you book your flight rather than later.

What if difficult feelings come up?

They may, and that is not a sign something has gone wrong. Work of this kind tends to bring things to the surface — old grief, irritation, restlessness, or a strong reaction to someone in the group who has done nothing to deserve it. That last one is worth naming in advance: in a small circle doing intimate work, we tend to see our own history in the people around us.

You are not asked to push through any of it alone. Notice what arises, stay curious about it rather than acting on it, and bring it to Nicole or Dorena when it would help. Discomfort handled this way often turns out to be the most useful material of the week — it usually has something to tell you about yourself.

Everything in the programme is voluntary. You can step out of any exercise, at any point, without explaining yourself.

What is asking to emerge through you?

To Know Thyself is to Know Truth.

Greece provides the breathtaking landscape. The group creates the held space. The practices help to quiet the noise. And then your own heart and soul will show you the way.
